UWI Afrikan Society: Wazzala

Last weekend, the UWI Afrikan Society presented their 9th Annual Production; a sold-out, spectacular theatrical production called “Wazzala”.

“Wazzala” is an Amharic word meaning beatiful and elegant, and the production touched on themes of acceptance and identity through spoken word, drumming and more.
