The last UWI Hike was a journey to the Matelot Waterfall in East Trinidad, a place that hiking groups rarely venture to because of the long and winding drive to get there.
Upon finally reaching the waterfall, the group had to quickly leave in the interest of safety as some sudden torrential rainfall lead to flooding that may have potentially left the group stranded in the forest. Making the best of the situation, the day was spent relaxing near a beach while it drizzled and sampling some homemade ice cream before heading back.
