Maracas Bay Bioblitz

Last weekend, the Trinidad and Tobago Field Naturalists’ Club hosted their Annual Bioblitz in Maracas Bay. Over the course of the event, more than 250 volunteers identified more than a thousand species including Ornate Hawk Eagles, Oilbirds, the Golden Tree Frog and many more.

On the second day of the event, there were nature displays at the basecamp at the Maracas Bay Community Center that were open to the public.
