Mount Saint Benedict and Mount Tabor Hike

The UWI Hiking Club started the 2016 series of hikes with a journey from the Mount Saint Benedict Abbey to Mount Tabor; a peak that offers an amazing view of the entire Caroni Plain and a large portion of the Central Range.

The hike included a brief stop at the ruins of a monastery that predates the current one, as well as a stop to ascend a tower used for finding and preventing forest fires.
