Matura Coastal Clean Up 2018
The Annual Nature Seekers Beach Clean-Up is the largest organized beach clean-up in Trinidad. For 2018, over 2000 people from groups all across Trinidad and Tobago participated.
Several of these groups were campus clubs the UWI Law Society, the UWI Tourism Association, the UWI Biological Society and the Habitat for Humanity UWI Campus Chapter.
The Beach Clean-Up traditionally ends with a sand turtle building contest and both the Biological Society and Habitat for Humanity placed in the top three.
