Expedition to Rio Seco Waterfall

Last Sunday the UWI Hiking Club ventured into the Matura Forest, possibly the last remaining forest on the island that is dominated almost purely by tall Mora trees. After a forty minute trek we reached the Rio Seco Waterfall; a plunge fall with a large, deep plunge pool. Perfect weather conditions plus some oil-down afterwards meant a perfect day!
