This exciting cascade is located in Blanchisseuse and is an ideal for both adults and kids! \nThe trail to the Three Pools  begins at the Spring Bridge Road where the beautiful Marianne River flows lazily to the Caribbean Sea. SUMMARY:Maracas Waterfall Adventure
DESCRIPTION:Hikers\, on the upcoming Arrival Day holiday Friday 30th May\, 2025 we visit the towering Maracas Waterfall.\nMaracas Waterfall with an altitude of 91.5 metres is Trinidad’s highest waterfall.\nThe falls is located in the Maracas St.Joseph Valley and the source comes from the southern foothills of Mt. El Tucuche. Its close proximity to Port-of-Spain makes the waterfall a favorite tourist destination. \nThe journey on foot will take about 45 minutes -1 hour depending on one’sfitness. We walk uphill and we know we are close once we start to feel waterdroplets on our faces. \nAt this time of the year the water flow should be at an all high and creating a memorable sight for its visitors. \nCost:\n$140 Hike & transportation \nIncludes:\n• Transportation\n• Certified Guides\,\n• Safety equipment (LifeJacket\, ropes\, cutlass)\n• Security \nAssembly: 7:30am at JFK Shuttle Stop\, U.W.I Main Campus.\nEstimated time of return: 3pm \nGuidelines:\n1. DESCRIPTION:Come Saturday 26th April 2025 and experience another natural wonder Trinidad has to offer.  \nThe 12\,000-acre Caroni Swamp and Bird Sanctuary is the natural nesting home of the Scarlet Ibis bird\, one of the national birds of Trinidad and Tobago.  \nOn this boat tour\, one is able to observe the natural habitat and roosting ritual of these birds as they return from their daily travels to the Venezuelan mainland\, a distance of about 11 miles. \n This tour is perfect for birdwatchers and nature  lovers alike as many (if not all) of the 100 plus species of other birds\, caimans\, swamp boas and crabs of different species which also make the Swamp their home can be seen.
