Yarra Beach Camping Trip

Hikers,
From Saturday 2nd December to Sunday 3rd December, join us as we spend a night under the stars, sleeping in tents and making memories in the glow of a bonfire.

At our campsite at Yara Beach there is an evergreen river to indulge in and the seascape perfect for photography lovers.

At camp hikers will learn to pitch a tent, cook ole school style using firewood, roast marshmallows in the Bonfire they would have created.

On the Sunday we take a trip to enjoy the waters of the popular 3 Pools located close by in Blanchisseusse.

This camp is perfect for first time campers and those wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Cost:$250 per person
$200 with your own tent

INCLUDES:

Assembly: 730am at JFK Shuttle Stop, U.W.I Main Campus on Saturday
Estimated time of return: 5pm Sunday

Guidelines:
1) Pack only essentials (toiletries, water, sheets/ blankets or sleeping bag, 2 sets of clothing (long sleeves and pants for night time), flashlight, insect repellent)
2) Pack food, snacks, water and other refreshments as needed
3) Have proper shoes with good sole grips.
4) Pack an extra change of clothing for return trip (to remain in maxi taxi)
5) No littering, alcohol or smoking allowed.
6) Walk with any medication you may require (asthma, allergies, pain etc)
